Made it through another Give Kids a Smile Day as the Tooth Fairy, some truly adorable children. One little boy gave me his sticker and two little girls ran up and hugged me, makes it all worth it :)

I finished a knitting project I started in April! It's a Christening gown for my great niece and I included two doilies crocheted by my husband's grandmother (Baby's great-great grandmother) in the hem. Very happy with it!

Heartbroken, had to say goodbye to our Amy Kitty, heart failure. She was just shy of her 7th birthday. Truly a special cat, she will be much missed.

Lovely time at the book launch for "Andrei and the Hellcats" last night at Loganberry Books! The cake was great, the bookstore great, the tchotchkes were awesome! I love my official Hellcats shot glass! Many happy sales to my sister @reasie.bsky.social

Home from a mini-vacation to Ticonderoga, NY. Had a great time! Lake George was beautiful, Fort Ticonderoga was interesting and the Star Trek Set tour was AWESOME!

Midterm exam today; eek! I did my best to prepare, so no reason to panic, eh? If anything, an exam is a test of how well the teacher passed on knowledge as well as how well I absorbed it. We're in this together, eh?

Went to the Cleveland Museum of Art yesterday at lunch; really like the exhibit in Gallery 1; contemporary artist mixes Mughal era motifs with more contemporary designs. Will go back when I have more time!

when I was a kid, I hated Valentine's day; it's a great day of shunning and shaming. However as an adult I love it; it's a day to remind all my friends and acquaintances that they are loved. Buy a box of kids valentines and distribute them! Happy Heart Day, friends!

I actually like sending holiday cards; it's fun to think of my friends and family and put pretty cards into envelopes. I just wish I knew more addresses were correct!

I did not miss final exams. They are not fun. Ran out of time on it, hopefully so did the rest of the class and it ends up graded on a curve. Heh. Nailed the essay question, slow on the coding.
