Love this movie!! I either snuck into this movie or rented it so much I think I did. Rewatching it now it holds up. It’s sooo close to being an Alien level classic homage *cough (rip off) in the best way! It’s slightly let down with production design and script. Infinitely rewatchable!

This one: well acted, big budget, well shot. James Cameron at his best. Genuinely forgot how batshit the ending was. Loved it but not one I’ve watched often.

Why was 1989 a huge year for water movies?
5 movies and all of them bangers!
1. The leviathan
2.The abyss
3.Deepstar six
4.Lords of the deep
5. The Rift(1990)

Why was 1989 such a huge year for water movies? This led to a Deep dive(sic) into all things water based

Found this in a second hand shop. Used to get this from the library regularly as a kid. Every page is seared into my consciousness! I was always drawn to horror and the supernatural!

Tales from the crypt puzzle. One of the hardest I’ve done but awesome to see Jack Davis art blown up and up close. Genius!

Net #hammerhorror double bill.

Good double feature both solid films. Interesting ambiguity in these Hammer films. The good guys are awful the bad guys are bad but sexy and stylish. There’s a self destructive hopelessness to them.

Great performances though!

Just watched In the mouth of madness! I think it’s an underrated John Carpenter flick.

I’m a huge #Johncarpenter fan but this one never got much play. It’s growing on me, it has such a vibe and captures that Lovecraft feel.

First up in the #Hammerhorror watch is Vampire circus.

I liked this one. I hadn’t seen it before and it was fun and kinda kinky! Trust the repressed British to come up with this. Some good gore and a panther attack that made me laugh out loud!!

Loving the Hammer movie poster puzzle. Going to start watching some of these!

Just watched #spiderbaby. I loved it! Clearly many directors were influenced by this one!

A very old Lon Chaney junior acting with a very young lanky Sid Haig, my mind is officially blown!

Not explicit gore or nudity but this one is Dirty!!😉

Any fans?

Howling III: Marsupials

OMG! They are werewolves that keep their young in a POUCH!

Wow.

Starting a Howling dive… I’ve only seen 1 and 2. 1 is a stone cold classic and Joe Dante is a god. 2 is Christopher Lee and Sybil Danning chaotic craziness.

Starting 3. Howling: the marsupials. Australian strangeness… not sure yet.

I’m not sure how to use this app yet or any social media. Generally it gives me anxiety and I avoid it. Hopefully I will learn how to post threads and images etc. until then this is me talking about things I like like movies and horror in particular and I do have a theory share.

Werewolf movies!
