Milah is a legend in Frontline as one of the most consistent scorers and agitators in the history of the sport. Even after retirement, her name's "in the rafters" of the Wolves' Den and shes known all around Gridania and by those who watched the games she was in, and those who played against her.

Western Adoulin is also pretty poorly secure, and is greatly affected by their trickle-down economics from the East to the West. Sylvie grew up with very little, and at times, Western Adoulin wouldn't have clean water, but she always remained optimistic that the pioneers would help the nation.

Though Sylvie and Arciela lived in Adoulin, they never interacted because the other Geomancers would try and prevent her from traveling to the East side, because of Arciela's disdain for the colonization efforts; they felt it was a conflict of interest.

After of being cured, the order of Geomancers would offer Sylvie a proper ceremony for her father, and would lift the label of her bloodline being traitors. Having been through that, it was Sylvie's idea to leave Vana'diel, which Milah agreed and the two would find Atomos to leave for Etheirys.

Shortly after, one of the Geomancers, the mentor to Sylvie's mentor, and the one of only two who treated her with respect, fell ill to a curse the forest put on her, and Sylvie had to contact the "higher power" as a descendant of Zacariah, to find out the geomancers had lost their way.

Shortly after father was killed, Sylvie and Milah held a private ceremony, because none of the Geomancers would attend or even help her organize one. There is where Sylvie opened up about her own bloodline, being linked to the first Geomancer and the founder of Adoulin himself.
