siffrin became a creature because i was trying to draw fast
Comic panel 1: Siffrin is curled up in a blanket. Isabeau shakes his head, thinking to himself, "Very cute, Sif. But I'll be taking that back, thank you." Panel 2: Isabeau holds one end of the blanket. Panel 3: Isabeau pulls the blanket, sending Siffrin spinning in place above the bed like a propeller. Panel 4: Siffrin lands flat in the center of the bed, still fast asleep. Panel 5: Isabeau nervously reaches towards Siffrin to wake them. Panel 6: Isabeau whispers to Siffrin who is now small and flat like a bug for some reason, "PSST! Sorry, Sif! Could you-" Panel 7: Odile rises, encased in shadow with eyes shining. "Isabeau." She says. Isabeau is wide awake and sweating. Mirabelle and Bonnie shut their eyes tight, pretending to sleep. Siffrin woke up and looks like a wet cat.

the real reason we dont see siffrin in the night scene is because they look like this
Siffrin and Isabeau lay in bed. Siffrin wears his regular outfit including hat, cloak, and shoes. Isabeau smiles at him and thinks to himself, "It's so normal how he wears shoes to bed. :)" Siffrin and Isabeau lay in bed. Siffrin has stolen all the blanket and is sleeping soundly. Isabeau, tired, opens one eye to look at them.
