I read online once that a possible meaning behind my first name was “little stone.” That was probably incorrect, but I really liked the sound of it. I’m super into Greek mythology and have a degree in Classics, so “mikripetra” (fem. little stone) came into existence.

So mine's entirely the fault of a Welsh friend. When we met I was going by Callie but he gives all his friends animal nicknames and I love cats and always have cat pfps so I became "kitten". Also he kept misreading "Callie" as "ceilidh" and I thought it sounded cute

Around 2010, I started to really hate the UN I had on my LJ account. It didn't Fit. I'd been going by WD or WalkingDictionary for a while, but character limits meant no WalkingDictionary on a bunch of sites. Got an LJ rename token, needed a name. Looked around my room. Hmm...
