My wife, being Japanese, has no concept of anciant Greek deities. Myself, being European, albeit from a wrong corner of the continent when looking for ancient Greek insight, am left to make up some very sketchy explanations of the local pantheon that will probably come back to bite me later

Today there's a bit of extra action here in Athens, and we ended up with a longer than expected walk back to the hotel due to police shutting down metro stations and blocking off a swath of downtown for the annual November 17th demonstration. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Athens_...

Looks like I'm the last customer for the day at the shop to change to winter tyres on the car, and the guys are super happy to get home early because I arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule
