It's frustrating to learn that the opening of the Eglinton Crosstown LRT has now been delayed for a period longer than it took the TTC to build the initial stretch of the Yonge subway. YouTuber "notsmoothsteve" does the math. #toronto #ttc youtu.be/4CRAZhEacvA?...

I finally caught 'The Master Plan' by @healey.bsky.social (which has just been extended at Soulpepper theatre in #Toronto). It's a brilliantly funny satire that cleverly explores the intersection of big tech, urban planning, and municipal politics. Highly recommend it!

I wanted to see if Siri was any better in iOS 18.2, so I summoned it and asked “Surely it won’t rain today.”

“No it won’t,” Siri replied. “And don’t call me Shirley.”

That’s when I realized I left my iPhone in Airplane mode.

Thousands of baristas at more than 200 Starbucks locations walked off the job Thursday, in hopes of shutting down stores, to protest the coffee giant’s bargaining practices over scheduling and staffing.

The coordinated work stoppage coincides with one of the coffee giant’s biggest sales events.
