Today they shut down the help center for the Small Business Admin. Fired hundreds of people who were helping folks repay their SBA loans. Now directing people to an old, disused website. My hatred of these scum knows no bounds.

Not sorry for saying this at all. Everyone who is boycotting Amazon won't hurt Bezos, but they will devastate income for Indie authors and small bookstores. Understand your targets. We Libs are supposed to be the smart ones.

283 million registered vehicles in the US. 83 million gun owners in the US. So, math tells us it would be 3 1/2 times easier to handle a gun registry. And insurance.

I should not be having to wear a coat in South Texas in March! Apparently that orange bag of puke has even let the Russians take over our weather.
March 9, 2025 at 11:39 PM
If you still back the orange traitor today, after he stopped our cyber defense against a dictator who's been attacking us for decades and after the Kremlin literally said the administration vision aligns perfectly with theirs, then you, too, are a traitor to the US. An entire nation says fuck you.

Eliminating cybersecurity oversight of Russia is the most traitorous thing the orange puke has done. Until the republicans in Congress stand up for our national security, they are active traitors and the lowest of cowards. Active abandonment of national security. Not politics. Traitors. Cowards.

Sen Lisa Murkowski and Rep Don Bacon, both with an R after their name, have strongly come out against the disgusting shakedown and abandonment of Ukraine. Every one of their colleagues on that side of the aisle who don't do the same as we give Russia the keys to our nation are republican traitors
March 2, 2025 at 5:24 PM
While doing it here may be preaching to the choir, we should all be posting the phrase and hashtag "republican cowards" on a daily basis. Everywhere. Forget this "complicit" BS, they're an active part of making Russia our overlords. Cybersecurity defense gone. It's criminal. Traitors. Cowards.

Funny how laws written for one group then become anathema. Texas has one of the strongest free speech protections in the country. The radical right republicans are now trying to destroy it. Important read for all Texans. And a cautionary tale for all.
Tomlinson: Corporations could sue critics more under proposed law
Lawmakers want to gut the Texas Citizens Participation Act, which prevents the rich and powerful from using frivolous lawsuits to silence their opponents.

I keep saying Dems need to do a daily briefing on Capitol Hill and fill the void, fact check the WH. Hire Pete Buttigeig and give him a staff to do this.

John Cornyn was Texas AG before the Senate. He knows the law and Constitution inside and out. You expect cowardice and pure corruption from the Cruzes and Hawleys, etc, but Cornyn deserves special contempt cause that craven hypocrite knows just what a cowardly POS he is. Everlasting shame on him.

Grants for Texas ranchers, wildfire prevention in Montana, research at the university of Alabama, new school buses in Missouri and of course the end of billions in export sale for farmers in places like Iowa & Nebraska. The corrupt orange admin is killing their own.

Non-profits are already failing and laying off employees because previously approved and signed federal grants are not being paid. Heard today about it at one that helps ranchers plant sustainable grasses. All folks who voted for the conman and are are pisssssssed.

Well, Mahomes said the Chiefs aren't getting favorable calls. So I guess that settles it. We can stop believing our own eyes.

Was it just coincidence that Melania was dressed like Al Capone, or is that indicative of the impending level of graft, theft, and corruption? Asking for a nation.

So the orange conman doesn't put his hand over his heart and that's cool, but when Obama did it in 2008, the radical righties lost their shit.

Anyone coming by Talyard tonight, we are in the brewhouse. Walk down the loading dock on the gar right and look for an open door on the left.

By all means, keep complaining about wind turbines with old oil wells doing this
What to know about ‘zombie’ oil wells causing pollution in West Texas
Neglected oil and gas wells are coming back to life in West Texas, harming the environment and confounding Texas regulators.

We ordered the largest size they had, and one of our dogs still needs an extension. And it's not from too much Thanksgiving dinner.

Our two coyote packs are howling and yipping and singing at each other. It's a beautiful, natural, uplifting polar opposite version of what the gop caucus must sound like behind closed doors.

I put up a new episode of my Prick The Balloon podcast. A little more recent American history that I'm hoping may ease some progressive angst and help rally the folks to keep battling for progress.
