I remember paying 50p a letter for ‘Kanchelskis’ on my shirt. United to the core, Glazers Out since ’05.
I talk football here, and make football culture content elsewhere as @MikeUnitedFC.

Remember when we were told that Viktor Gyökeres was twice the forward of Benjamin Šeško?

Or that this Arsenal side could even be mentioned in the same breath as United '08?

Manchester United beat Arsenal 3-2 at the Emirates.

We outfought them. We outplayed them.

We had better quality all over. We played with passion, with courage.

What a way to use my 1000th post on Bluesky 🥹

We might not be "back" - but Manchester United are thankfully so much better ❤️

Seems like Carrick has told his players to basically shoot on sight and I am SO here for it 🔥 ⚽

We are NOT BEING UNDONE by Set Piece FC!! What a shitty way to concede.

BUT WHAT A WAY TO RESPOND!!

GET IN CUNHA, WHAT A FUCKING STRIKE!!

Never give in, never back down!

Dorgu with an absolute thunderbastard of a goal!!

Always helps when it comes in off the bar! Sensational strike.

I know Zubimendi gifted that to us, but it's no more than we deserve.

Heads didn't drop, intent remained positive. And that man Mbeumo was ready when called upon.

Class reaction. YANITED!!!

Villa Women 1-4 MU Women

Zigiotti 35, Terland 71, Park 75, Lundkvist 79.

The score didn't flatter United at all, who could've had more. Second half completely changed once Terland came on.

Tough game for Wangerheim and Schüller to get into.

Onwards and upwards! Over to Michael Carrick's men!

Morning all!

Away day at Villa Park for me today watching MU Women. Always love visiting that place!

Hopefully followed by getting home to watch a swashbuckling win by the men at the Emirates 🤞🏻

Did Elliot Anderson just get a straight red card for mouthing at the ref?? What must he have said for an instant red? Like literally, no hesitation.

✅ Saw Biffy Clyro on Friday
✅ United beat City on Saturday

It's been an amazing weekend. Manifesting more positivity this week 🤞🏻

Mark Chapman on MOTD: "Liverpool are unbeaten in 12".

Wayne Rooney: "6 of those were draws".

Well played Wazza for not pandering to that bullshit narrative.
January 17, 2026 at 11:47 PM
Obviously delighted with that performance. Not just the win, the whole setup and approach.

Totally dominant. Should've been more. City barely a sniff.

Coordinated, well-planned, intelligent. Everything we haven't been for so long.

And... IT'S CITY! The look on Cherki's shitty little face! 🤣

I'm not superstitious.

But whenever I refrain from commenting on Bluesky mid-game, United tend to win! 🫩

Maybe that's my sign to zip it on match days from now on! 🤐

I honestly feel for Palace. After all they've achieved, and then it turns out that this is their ceiling financially and competitively.
A real punch in the gut for any club's ambition, outside the very richest teams.
Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has confirmed he will leave the club this summer at the end of his contract.

“I told Steve (Parish) I’m looking for a new challenge,” Glasner said.

I know migration to Bluesky has slowed, but how's everyone finding this platform?

My follower count's slowed but overall, I have loads of amazing interactions daily, with like-minded and respectful people from all over.

Would love to see Bluesky grow more. Too many are reluctant to leave X.

Every minute Shea Lacey gets against PL opposition will improve him massively. The lad is golden. Always wants the ball. Huge ceiling. What a talent.
January 11, 2026 at 6:14 PM
One day, when the good times are back at United, I think we'll look back at Ugarte, Dalot, Zirkzee, Shaw etc, and know how Liverpool feel now looking back at Henchoz, Charlie Adam, Konchesky and Joe Allen.

The mediocre years.

Right, let's hear some positivity! I wanna know your absolute FAVOURITE #MUFC moment in the post-Ferguson era.

No rose-tinted 90s and 2000s throwbacks.

Just the best of what's been a rough almost 13 years.

Here's mine.
January 6, 2026 at 7:16 PM
Damn, we've REALLY gotta improve our finishing. Needing 20+ chances to put the ball in the back of the net is unsustainable.

BUT ... we're creating chances. I'll take that right now.

YANITED!!

Shea Lacey making an impression in the Premier League is no surprise: he's one of the most anticipated and highly-rated prospects to come out of the Manchester United academy in a long time. Injury has stunted his progress over the past year, but the pure talent is obvious and unquestionable.

Our static midfield is such a glaring weakness, game after game, whatever the formation.

Casmiro and Ugarte make our defenders nervous.

Zirkzee is also far from good enough. In the same bracket as Hojlund.

We have the makings of a decent team. But sadly not enough to show for the ££ we've spent.
