For a rabid and disarmingly loyal fan base that has enjoyed two playoff appearances (and zero victories) over the past 23 seasons, this would be a very welcome sight.

Can anyone save the Raiders? It’s time for Tom Brady to try
Brady as a silent adviser to the Las Vegas Raiders is one thing, but a present, fully accountable boss would send a far different message.

The Raiders are the worst team in the NFL and they need a leader.

It’s time for Tom Brady to come out of the shadows.

They're the worst team in football, and leaning into the mantle. Can Tom Brady fix the Raiders?

A very early Sunday morning for @mikesilver.bsky.social with the Jags, this one was in motion hours before they went on to beat the Broncos.
What happened Sunday was a loud and clear statement that the Jaguars are a legitimate contender.

Their 34-20 victory over the Broncos kept them in the race for the division crown.

The Jaguars were presumed to be headed for a spanking against the hottest team in football.

Staring them in the face was a Broncos team that owned the NFL’s best record and hadn’t lost since the last day of summer.

They just lost for the first time since... summer (Sept 21) 😂
The Broncos are as dead as the dodo. Luck, not talent got them where they are. Now that is over. And that makes me happy.

Matt LaFleur gets so much praise from his Packers own locker room and coaches around the league. How is LaFleur feeling? Great access 👇🏼
Can a guy closing in on his sixth playoff appearance in seven seasons be on the hot seat? “That’s crazy,” Broncos coach Sean Payton said as he walked to his car. “Just look at his winning percentage. I think he’s really good.”

The Packers also lost the game, 34-26, and their hold on first place in the NFC North.

And LaFleur, who has coached more aggressively as of late, lost a golden opportunity to quiet the noise surrounding his status.

My column from Denver...
By the time Matt LaFleur prepared to leave the stadium Sunday night, his eyes were glassy and his world had been rocked.

In addition to losing Christian Watson, the Packers endured an even more devastating blow when Micah Parsons crumpled to the ground.

The answer is no, I’m told.
