I spent years as a wildland firefighter. Both structure and woodland. I worked on a Helicopter or helitac fire team. These fires in LA are a complete nightmare. So so sad. I hope the life loss is small.

As for movies this holiday break I saw Wicked and Moana 2 with my seven year old. Both were so so entertaining and I thumbs up them both.

Holiday recap Watched Shogun- loved it. Watched Landman (Yellowstone in oil fields) liked it. Read Shantaram Loved it. Oakland Zoo glo-lights great time. Family time was fantastic. My young daughter keeps me thinking about death. My older daughter's death keeps me thinking about life. Happy New Year

I drive by San Pablo damn road daily and look at the reservoir. I wonder could they make these reservoirs bigger to counteract droughts? I see them letting so much water out during years of plentiful rain.
