"The Paper" is Ron Howard's best film. The fact that I spent a lot of time in newsrooms growing up (my father was a local sports reporter) has no bearing on this opinion.
Got some time to watch a good movie or binge watch a good television show?
Here's a few that will definitely entertain you and may help you understand the world of journalism a little better:

"The deal would include a promised vote on extending Obamacare tax credits in December, the sources said."

"Promises" guaranteed by what? They are negotiating with the same party that isn't spending congressionally-delegated funds, among other things.
“.. It is the most significant movement toward a bipartisan breakthrough in the talks to re-open the government in over a month.”

Old joke. Still works.
Hasan: The great irony is of course that Donald Trump is the son of an immigrant. The grandson of an immigrant and married to an immigrant. In fact two of his three wives were immigrants, proving yet again that immigrants will do the jobs that even Americans are not willing to do.

Among the long list of political adversaries President Trump has targeted in his second term are several Black women in powerful positions. Attorney General Letitia James of New York, who brought a civil case against Trump and won, is the latest.

SCOOP — The White House instructed all federal agency leadership on Tuesday to send out a mandatory message to workers blaming the impending potential government shutdown on House Democrats, The Handbasket was first to learn. Absolutely no modifications to the email were permitted.

My story:
Trump mandates all federal agencies send email blaming Dems for potential gov’t shutdown
Workers call the partisan email "a vile slap in the face."
