I used to spend a lot of time demonstrating how business processes were more than just automated repetitive tasks and how low-code ≠ magic, but now I'm retired. I also spent decades in the USA (legally) but returned to Canada a few years ago (happily).
Fascists' accusations are actually confessions. When U.S. Treasury Sec Scott Bessent called Doug Ford's "Reagan Hated Tariffs" as a "psy-op" he ignored U.S. psy-ops going on in Canada. To say nothing of the Trump-tied U.S. hedge fund that owns the majority of Canadian newspapers.

Stephen Colbert wins his time slot, grows his audience. Yet CBS is ending the Late Show. Note CBS’ settling a lawsuit with Trump for 16m. Paramount, CBS’ parent, needs approval from Trump’s FCC to merge with Skydance, which is owned by the son of Larry Ellison — a big Trump supporter. Do the math.

States suffering from reduced tourism: stop persuading Canadians to return. Persuade your president to stop annexation threats, tariffs, and the very real risk of being sent to an El Salvadoran gulag. Hollow gestures and appeals to "years of friendship" that ask us to ignore that are insulting.

With Canada's election finished, I'm hoping the RCMP can now arrest Danielle Smith on the charge of election interference (if not outright treason) for recruiting a foreign country to influence the election. @mark-carney.bsky.social -- what say you?

Beware Tory dirty tricks. If they have to lie to win, that should tell you they don't deserve to win.

Let's see... attack ads, robocalls, social media disinformation, rage farming, scapegoating, and now poling place interference. The Conservative Party of Canada has gone full American.
