Hi everyone! I’ve worked on climate and clean energy policy in MN for 30+ years, from a variety of perspectives — for the most conservative Governor in recent MN history, for climate/clean energy NGOs, for multiple MN utilities and now help lead the staff at the MN Public Utilities Commission.
I had a blast giving an overview of the structure and function of the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission at the Itasca Economic Development Corporation's “Sparking Change - Diversifying our Regional Economy” event in Grand Rapids, MN last week. Thanks so much for having me!

Woke up just after 1am this morning, house was bone-cold. Power was out at our farm, -7 degrees out. Called Steele-Waseca electric co-op to report the outage and power was restored within the hour!

I ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ my electric co-op

Claire Moeller/MISO is a national treasure. His retirement message to the #NARUC gas committee today was both a strong warning (“We’re three days from chaos.”) and optimistic (“We’ll be ok if we listen with both ears, and ignore the alligators - big mouths with tiny ears.”)
