Matt Gaetz's withdrawal demonstrates a) again that fascism's first lie is inevitability; it's not. b) the struggle is long; obviously, this isn't over. c) the wild instability of weaponized narratives. The Right developed "groomer," which made legible behavior that Gaetz was hardly first to pursue.
