Juneteenth is great example of what can happen when information is suppressed. It was roughly 2 1/2 years from the signing of the emancipation proclamation… and many people’s awareness of it. (Justice delayed, one might say.)

Working on a few more bear shots today... and came across this beauty as it emerged from the woods. May 2021 from an undisclosed location near Danbury, WI. Look close, and you'll see she's scratching her back on a sapling that she had just pushed over for that purpose.
