Small rant, while It's awesome to see more support for indie animation these day, there seems to be this unrealistic expectation that all these projects must fit that polished TV budget animation look™️ in order to be deemed 'good.' (1/3)

It's always when I think back to the days when I got called not black enough/oreo/bounty bc I didn't talk "black" or have enough "black" interests... Makes me laugh to this day

@ black people. I just wanted to give you a reminder that it's okay to like the things you like, dress the way you dress, and be friends with the people you're friends with. None of that makes you "Less black" because racists only see your skin color. You aren't acting white because you're diverse.
