I’m two days late but Sunday would have been Rory Gallagher’s 77th birthday. Legend has it that when Hendrix was asked what it was like to be the greatest guitar player in the world, he replied “I don’t know, ask Rory Gallagher.”

Had a great time today attending Sy Montgomery and Matt Patterson’s talk about their book Of Time and Turtles! They were so nice afterwards too, graciously signing my girlfriend’s and my books and taking a few minutes to talk turtles!

Had a lot of fun seeing A Complete Unknown on Saturday night. It was hard to not sing along to Dylan’s songs in the movie theater though. I now understand why Wicked has some separate, sing-along showings.
