Earth's orbit around the Sun. Special points on the orbit are remarked: the apsides (perihelion and aphelion), the solstices (summer and winter) and the equinoxes (spring and autumn). Horizontal coordinates in astronomy. Above the observer, there is the zenith. The angle between the projection of the star in the horizon and the South is called the azimuth.
