I think over time a group that has fun playing D&D together gradually replaces the game’s rules with an intuitive social connection that enables good play.

However, those first steps require sensible, easy to use rules. You can’t just jump to that final step.

Finished the 2nd season of #Arcane today. Solid series throughout. Might be one of the first TV adaptations that surpass the source material.
