For Arc Raiders to ride the wave of human sociability all the way to the bank, while also being so contemptuous of the thing that makes us social animals in its own workflow demonstrates a lack of artistic integrity that I find impossible to ignore.

Janey and Rox were inseperable as teens, both punk kids out to stick it to The Man.
Janey didn't change much during her ten years in jail - it was like time stood still for her.
Rox on the other hand became a completely different person

I've recently relaxed my stance a bit regarding adaptations of things straying from source material.
If a movie or show changes something *a little bit* I just treat it as an alternate universe where things happened a bit differently.
Makes things far easier for me to enjoy
