My letter to Labour stating my resignation from the party bounced as it went to an address that was not monitored.

I added a further line and posted to the correct address.

I do not expect a response.

“The contemporary tendency ... is to base distribution on scarcity, which has vanished, and to compress our abundance into the overfed mouths of the middle and upper classes until they gag with superfluity. If democracy is to have breadth of meaning it is necessary to adjust this inequity.” —MLK

On this day (18th Jan) in 1995, I saw Jeff Buckley at the Astoria, Charring Cross Road, London.

The album “Grace” which he performed had been released five months previously on 23rd August 1994.

A truly unforgettable gig.

The quicker we can dismantle our reliance on the US, the better.

I would personally have no nuclear deterrent rather than having one that is effectively owned by the US.

Russia isn’t going to nuke London. They own most of it.
When we said NATO wasn't working we were derided.

When we said a nuclear weapons system relying on the US is dangerous we were called stupid.

The truth is the establishment are more interested in kissing US feet than keeping the UK safe.

It's time for a rethink.

Minneapolis seems far away from us here in Britain. But only two or three dotted lines separate any place in Britain from the fascist terror now engulfing the USA.

Now that WWII has all but faded from ‘living memory’, many Brits have forgotten themselves in their enthusiasm for fascism.

The law in the US appears to be so easily circumvented, a five year old could manage it.

If the law only applies to everybody bar the 2% at the top of the tree, the law doesn’t exist.

I just watched the movie “Argo”.

I saw it when it first opened but today It’s like watching a fairy tale or some unbelievable science fiction, as opposed to being based on real life.

DEAR DEMOCRATS IN CONGRESS‼️

stop talking like there is any possibility of making ICE a better ICE. It’s not happening.

ICE needs to go. Period.

What are you saying? “Let’s make slave catchers nicer.” It’s moral nonsense.
