Chateau Ste Michelle Washington State Columbia Valley Rosé 2024 Rosé season is officially past but not for me : actually my favorite season to drink rosé wines is… winter, even more so when it’s gloomy or better snowy outside. It’s like a bowl of summer warmth and fruits — a comforting contrast with the elements. The best would be to drink a rosé when there is a howling blizzard outside but we haven’t had any in almost a decade, that’s another story. Even though I drink some rosé in summer and early fall, I will finish the majority of my summer rosé shopping spree in winter, say end of November and on, into December, January and February.

Another recipe that is becoming a favorite of ours: a simple but deliciously tasty spiced carrot salad. Very easy and delicious salad that I have made twice in August. It has also been great for my bento box at work during my long evening shifts at the brewery. It's a great way to eat carrots and a good change from shredded or soup, I will prepare it regularly. It’s also an all season salad recipe, you can totally enjoy it in winter and even do the cooking part in the regular oven to warm up the house.

La suite de ma randonnée, après la rencontre avec l’ours (puis un coyote) dans les 2 premiers kilomètres a été sans évènements notoires. Belle randonnée assez facile avec de superbes vues sur plusieurs lacs ( 4 en tout), mais je me suis dit que je n’allais pas poser mon sac à dos et m’arrêter pour manger, et certainement pas sortir de nourriture de mon sac ! Quand je suis arrivée au second lac (Crater Lake) il y avait un parking et quelques voitures alors j’ai pensé que je pouvais quand même manger là.

One of our favorite recipe to eat some greens in the colder months : broiled bok choy with garlic and lemon. This recipe has become a favorite of ours: very simple, delicious and tasty. The trick is to literally burn the bok choy and char them. I found that technique randomly on the Internet a couple of years ago when I was trying to figure out the best way to cook bok choy. For us that’s the way since then : and I serve them with some plain ramen with ponzu sauce, that makes a full and healthy meal.

J’avais peur parce qu’elle était en face d’un homme (mâle) républicain (pas modéré du tout et bien maga à fond, un véritable f@ciste ). élections 2025 élections 2025 Ouf les électeurs sont allés voter en masse. Alors que pour la présidentielle l’an dernier pas du tout : n’oublions pas que le sinistre agent orange a été élu avec seulement 15% de voix, oui 15% parce que seulement 30% d’électeurs sont allés voter, les autres soit n’ont pas voulu s’en donner la peine soit ne voulaient pas voter pour une femme (Harris) donc ont préféré s’abstenir : on voit le résultat, le monde est sens dessus dessous et les États-Unis en déclin aussi monstrueux que rapide « grâce à » seulement 15% de vote en faveur des abrutis qui nous gouvernent maintenant (gouverner est un grand mot) et parce que certains n’ont pas voulu se donner la peine de voter.
