A late morning walk with the scruffy guy.
A very scruffy brindle Scottish Terrier sits on the front walk. His mouth is open a bit and you can see his tongue. He needs brushing ASAP.

His Scruffiness surveys his yard. The lavenders are enjoying the mild weather. An early lizard.

The lizard has its pigmentation turned all the way up to catch the last bit of afternoon sun.

Various shots of the day.
The moon from very early this morning. It's super bright. I had to zoom in a lot to keep the photo from looking like a blurry so the color of the sky looks darker and flatter than it actually was, and the could have some weird texture. Tonight's sunset during the dog walk. The sky is a pale blue with clouds ranging from orange to pale pink spread across the sky. A brindle Scottish Terrier watches the neighborhood after our walk. His back is to the camera and his front feet are braced on a flat rock so he has an extra bit of height. He is quite shaggy at this point.

Keeping the family safe by holding up the wall during naps.

Even tho we are still on the no-haircut winter, Ollie went to the groomer for a bath and a nail trim.

Starting to stay light later - nice to not be walking in the total dark after work.

Finished watching del Toro's Frankenstein. I couldn't stop thinking about Victor as a 19th century tech bro. Convinced his invention is super awesome but no consideration for consequences or what to do once he finishes his creation. Everyone else pays for his arrogance. Interesting in this setting.

I have heard a noise in the alley!

Finally got around to getting the holiday lights up.

A line of blue lights disappears off on the right to run along the side of the house. Warm yellow light shows through the blinds on the porch windows, in contrast to the blue.

Two dog beds and a human bed available for sleeping in the room. So of course the best place to sleep is where people walk. Obstacle level: professional.
