Here's one I love revisiting from when Lucille & I were still engaged to be married later in the coming summer.

We had been on one of our favorite walking trails in Kingston and as we rounded a bend on the trail this beautiful specimen of a Barred Owl sat offside in a pine. I must've taken 100 photos and kept 3, this would be the better of the 3.

Gear in use at the time was anything but pro-level but I made sure to maximize it's potential until I could afford better lenses and later better bodies.

It's good for the soul to remember & review where I once was.... keeps me humble. 😉

Equipment used: Canon EOS Rebel T1i (my 2nd DSLR) with an EFS55-250mm f4-5.6 IS lens.
