Syrian authorities must immediately halt all acts of violence without committing further abuses, investigate and hold to account all perpetrators, and take tangible steps that meaningfully deliver on a "Syria for all Syrians." Israel must stop all incursions and attacks.

With great alarm, we at TIMEP are monitoring the harrowing accounts of violence in Suwayda, Syria that has killed civilians, displaced people from their homes, and exacerbated sectarian tensions at a deeply sensitive moment.

First and foremost, we hold the victims in our hearts.

From Jawhara on X:

“El-Fasher was once regarded as a cosmopolitan hub: a capital of the Keira dynasty, a caravan center, and a pivotal stop on the trade route between West & North Africa.
Now, new horrors unfold everyday, wiping out all that was of value in a place that was once called home.”
Humanitarian aid access in El-Fasher in Sudan remains dangerously restricted following recent RSF attacks, says the UN.
