Almost 10 years since the release of Batman v Superman neither those that like it nor those that hate it talk about any of the movies that followed it as much as they do it.

Another plot track I don't think the adaptations of Frankenstein have explored would be one in which the woman that Victor brings back to life to be his and/or his creature's bride is pregnant (i.e., the fetus/baby in her womb died when she did).

What is more lamentable, the missing issues of DC Comics titles like Action Comics and Detective Comics we'll never see because of the New 52, or the missing issues of Marvel titles like Amazing Spider-Man we'll never see because they constantly relaunch it with a new number one?

While I prefer it when Scooby-Doo mysteries involve the supernatural rather than men in masks, it would be a tremendously wasted opportunity if Lillard didn't play the man in the mask in the Netflix live-action series, not only because of his association with Scooby-Doo but also with the Scream and

Imagine something like this with Superman and the Kaiju in Gunn's movie. How did a CW show outdo a multi-million-dollar movie?

If Gunn's Superman REALLY saved people like a firefighter, he'd have used his arctic breath to extinguish the fire, not tried to shield it with his arms.

The flames shot right past him even though he was perfectly capable of stopping them.

That hand could belong to Susan or the newly-regenerated PIper Doctor.

Either option is intriguing... tardis.fandom.com/wiki/Woman_(...

Over on Twitter people are saying that Snyder's Superman saves people like a cop while Gunn's saves people like a firefighter.

Were it not because AJ Lee and Becky Lynch don't get along, CM Punk and Seth Rollins could team-up to take on Heyman and the Vision ("the enemy of my enemy is my friend") at WrestleMania.

This Sunday I'll be done with my re-watch of Doctor Who that started 20 weeks ago with the Fox movie.

20 years of Doctor Who in 20 weeks sounds weird.

Last night I re-watched Cherry 2000 now that it's been added to Prime Video.

While it's undoubtedly an '80s classic, a sexbot that can't get wet is either a plot hole the size of the Grand Canyon or the greatest marketing gimmick in history.

Consider this, the reason Metamorpho worked for Lex was because Luthor threatened someone he loved and cared about, his son Joey.

That was his "man on the chair" moment; Metamorpho chose to do Lex's bidding to protect his child.

Better yet, Lex's interrogation of Superman should have been broadcast and streamed live (with the appropriate safeguards to conceal his identity) to show the world what kind of hero he truly is.

Lex should have recorded his interrogation of Superman and then released the video to the public (with the necessary edits to conceal his identity) so they could see what he did when he threatened to kill Malik.

Spoilers for The 'burbs.

Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space.

The streaming reimagining/reboot of "The 'burbs" ends with the revelation that the HOA is the one behind the disappearances and deaths of everyone whose conduct violated their rules.

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace comes out.

Fans of Stars Wars (released in the '70s) hate it.

Prometheus comes out.

Fans of Alien (released in the '70s) hate it.

Man of Steel comes out.

Fans of Superman: The Movie (released in the '70s) hate it.

I sense a pattern...

The truly ironic part is that McFarlane's empire was built on the back of the mythology Moore and Gaiman contributed to Spawn and not on anything he did by himself.

VALIANT managed to sell fairly well with art that wasn't on par with Image, so strong writing can make up for subpar artwork.

Can the same be said of subpar writing and great artwork?

Todd McFarlane Now:

Todd McFarlane Then:
"I should hire Neil Gaiman, Dave Sim, and Alan Moore to write Spawn!"

Comics in the '50s couldn't use vampires, but Super Friends in the '70s could.

Imagine TV censors being more lax than comic book censors...
