Over on Twitter people are saying that Snyder's Superman saves people like a cop while Gunn's saves people like a firefighter.

Were it not because AJ Lee and Becky Lynch don't get along, CM Punk and Seth Rollins could team-up to take on Heyman and the Vision ("the enemy of my enemy is my friend") at WrestleMania.

This Sunday I'll be done with my re-watch of Doctor Who that started 20 weeks ago with the Fox movie.

20 years of Doctor Who in 20 weeks sounds weird.

Last night I re-watched Cherry 2000 now that it's been added to Prime Video.

While it's undoubtedly an '80s classic, a sexbot that can't get wet is either a plot hole the size of the Grand Canyon or the greatest marketing gimmick in history.

Consider this, the reason Metamorpho worked for Lex was because Luthor threatened someone he loved and cared about, his son Joey.

That was his "man on the chair" moment; Metamorpho chose to do Lex's bidding to protect his child.

Better yet, Lex's interrogation of Superman should have been broadcast and streamed live (with the appropriate safeguards to conceal his identity) to show the world what kind of hero he truly is.

Lex should have recorded his interrogation of Superman and then released the video to the public (with the necessary edits to conceal his identity) so they could see what he did when he threatened to kill Malik.

Spoilers for The 'burbs.

Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space. Spoiler Space.

The streaming reimagining/reboot of "The 'burbs" ends with the revelation that the HOA is the one behind the disappearances and deaths of everyone whose conduct violated their rules.

How does Solar Opposites get away with so blatantly ripping off the Silverhawks and Visionaries?

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace comes out.

Fans of Stars Wars (released in the '70s) hate it.

Prometheus comes out.

Fans of Alien (released in the '70s) hate it.

Man of Steel comes out.

Fans of Superman: The Movie (released in the '70s) hate it.

I sense a pattern...

What if one of the dead people Victor Frankenstein used to create his patchwork creature was a werewolf and another was a vampire?

The truly ironic part is that McFarlane's empire was built on the back of the mythology Moore and Gaiman contributed to Spawn and not on anything he did by himself.

VALIANT managed to sell fairly well with art that wasn't on par with Image, so strong writing can make up for subpar artwork.

Can the same be said of subpar writing and great artwork?

Todd McFarlane Now:

Todd McFarlane Then:
"I should hire Neil Gaiman, Dave Sim, and Alan Moore to write Spawn!"

Comics in the '50s couldn't use vampires, but Super Friends in the '70s could.

Imagine TV censors being more lax than comic book censors...

The 11th point of criteria of the CCA says that "scenes dealing with, or instruments associated with walking dead, torture, vampires and vampirism, ghouls, cannibalism and werewolves are prohibited."

At the height of the CCA, comics tended to use gorillas a lot.

If Superman analogs like Samaritan from Astro City, Mark and Nolan Grayson from Invincible, and Homelander from The Boys were derived from the Silver Age version instead of the Modern Age version what would be their stupid Silver Agey powers (think Superman shooting rainbows out of his fingertips)?

Since (presumably) Brainiac is the one that took Argo (or Kandor, whichever it is in this iteration) in "Supergirl" and he is (presumably) the villain in "Man of Tomorrow", wouldn't it make more narrative sense for the latter to be a team-up between Supergirl and Luthor rather than Superman and

Hopefully this time around the new Stargate series will get around to showing the Furlings.

They should be giant, menacing, armored andromorphic bears. Like a cross between Chewbacca and Iorek Byrnison from The Golden Compass.
