Nigel Farage tells me he WILL attend Trumps inauguration saying "he wouldn't miss it for the world"

He will likely be the first British politician to meet Trump after he is sworn in as president.

Huge exit poll in the Republic of Ireland election.

Very mixed picture - looks like a FF, FG, and Labour coalition to keep SF out.

For a long while I've been hearing District councils across Kent and KCC would dissappear in return for a Metro mayor and possibly 3 unitary authorities, Including a larger Medway.

Now it appears the Times are reporting the same thing.

Dozens of councils to be abolished under biggest reforms in 50 years
Move aims to end two-tier system of local government and replace it with larger unitary authorities, aiming to save the taxpayer about £3 billion over five years

Had great fun this week chasing Clarkson around Westminster.

He told me it would be "The end" for farming if changes aren't made.

Farmers said they'll up the ante if they don't get a better response from the government.

I just hope it isn't muck spreaders like in France....

Up early to get to London to the farmers protest!

Do help along if you can think of any farming related puns I can use in my report?

The best I've got is 'Clarkson Tax' or 'Tractor Tax'....which is a touch underwhelming.

I sometimes forget this isn't twitter when I've opened the app, and I'm scrolling away; it's only the interactions I'm having on here that reminds me it's not the other place.

I guess it's a sign the change over is happening....

A long week this week; with some historic news covering the resignation of the Archbishop.

It was genuinely fascinating to get to see how saddend and shocked staff at the cathedral were.

It will be an interesting few months for the church from here.
