This year has had a lot of bad triggers. I've dealt with creeps & SH, but worse were the manipulators who actively controlled my life. Punished friendships, ripped apart relationships, threatened blacklisting, lied about innocent people who they had personal vendettas against.

I often debate if it's a mistake speaking openly about personal fights. If it's public clients can see it. But I also hid a decade of abuses & struggles that built up to a breakdown & almost "giving up" last year. If talking helps protect someone or helps anyone know they're not alone it's worth it.

I hope you have the strength to speak out a about your abusers. Today's news is another example that a creep never stops. There's always another target, always another victim. I hope you never have to fear watching a predator get away with what they tried to keep in the shadows.

Sometimes I reflect on how I should've taken a hint in toxic professional situations to avoid the Tetris wall of trust issues they became.
I once took over a non-VO job for someone who was demoted for abusing his role, and I was still paid less than him after his demotion.
