The Project Ava AI Companion concerns me. Instead of using the technology for people connect in real time with others, it's encouraging them to rely on an AI for companionship whose job is to flirt with and agree with them.
It's isolating and not healthy for anyone but the company's bank account.

I hope people listen. We have to fight back, there's no doubt about it, but we have to do it in a way that doesn't give them more ammunition.
