Yesterday I attended an interview with historian Timothy Snyder on his book On Freedom. He defends a positive concept of freedom finding its roots in infancy: "..the philosophy of freedom begins with a baby's cry....Individual freedom is a social project and a generational one." Intriguing thoughts!
