Damp chilly walk. Cheeky robin!

First outing since contracting to the traditional non covid seasonal lurgy. Medieval Saffron Walden in Essex. The old Sun Pub building was Cromwell's headquarters 😮

A festive visit to Wimpole Hall, much of the house is closed for the winter . It was cold but sunny, the gardens & walled garden are sleeping getting ready for spring, though I did see some early daffodils well on their way 🌱

It's a race against the frost here in Hertfordshire. The only flower on my cathedral bells (cobaea) has nearly bloomed, it's taken weeks to reach this point 😊#gardening

Lovely day with my friend visiting Hatfield Stableyard and St. Etheldreda's next door. Followed by coffee at Falcons deli . So lucky to have places like this on our doorstep 😊
