A little release thing for three new CD releases at Inferno bar in Copenhagen, which will, according to BIN/Jonas Olesen, "NEVER be released digitally".
CD glitches and manipulations.
Check Jonas' custom-printed t-shirt.
The only bar I've been to that played Mika Vanio as background music.

Ripping CDs and found this ECM disc I had almost forgotten about. Well worth your time.

Preliminary test recordings for what might become a library of function generator tones and textures.
Recorded at 192khz with intensely beautiful spectrograms as a byproduct.

Utterly fantastic. Could use a Max Eastley-type boxset of this in various settings and spaces.

A continuation of my foray into recursive processing, this time using outboard gear and a custom Reaper script to automate the process.

Portable transducer prototype from discarded Bluetooth speaker.

Held together by duct tape and equal parts frustration and excitement.

(4/4) So now I plan to give it all back to the original artists. Luckily I know a few of them, but some are a little mystery. So time to do some research.
January 18, 2026 at 6:50 PM
(3/4) I had a contact at the library, they helped me set up the listening event, gave me access to the basement and allowed me to take home a stack of things for me to pick something from. This person has since stopped working at the library and I never got to return the borrowed things.

(2/4) A wonderful concept, I found so much oddball music this way back then. But the agreement meant the artists couldn't get the releases back and the libraries couldn't sell the items off, so with the Demotek gone, the releases were left in the basement to rot.
January 18, 2026 at 6:50 PM
(1/4) In 2023 I hosted a night of music in a local Copenhagen library, dedicated to what I was allowed to find at the basement in the old "Demoteket" category, a now-defunct 'underground library' where local artists could donate releases to be put alongside regular library items.

Say I want to buy a digital copy of Guy Somberg's Game Audio Programming 5 book, how do I even do that if it's not a Kindle edition? I'm not too well-versed in ebook formats and standards, but it starts to seem like "just getting the PDF" is simply not possible.

Sunday night activities:
Ripping CDs to computer and checking the 4 new Discman units I bought untested (one has the worst case of battery corrosion in any piece of equipment I've ever seen).

Lovely.
I apparently bought a license for Swinsian 2 in 2016. Version 2 stopped working, so I updated now.

After quite a while without, I finally get a new license for the music player Swinsian and have now begun digging into the old music collection harddrive. A fair few things on there I've missed. Contemplating ripping my entire CD collection -
and contemplating getting a dedicated DAP (iPod died).

I waited all day to try out adding free jazz to the combat in a Soulslike game. Imagine it with a different game world and aesthetic. But still imagine.
