Stepping back in time, with my first ever work-colleague and my first boss....at our first park, Bako National Park.
The boss - who pushed me to post-grad school and had clear strategic thinking, and the colleague was the colleague - always break new ground.
All are still avid conservationists.

Spent 2 days in one of the world's top three most biologically diverse sites for floral species, with more than 1,800 different species. Also home to 247 bird species, 55 amphibian species and over 1,200 species of insects.
Lambir is the third oldest long-term 52 ha research plot in the world!

Rather amazing day in the field looking at field plots of rare seedlings established 90 years ago.
And these rare seedlings are now giant trees and have sprouted many other seedlings.
Nature can come back, if we give it a chance.

Spotted at a hospital. Not sure if the actual head or skull is still attached or detached from its body. Guess the hospital does not have a head for use of English.

It is always nice to be appreciated. An Excellent Services Award from SFC, a statutory body of the Civil Service and reviewed by peers, signed by the most senior official of the State Civil Service. Thank you all, and it is on the shoulders of all my colleagues that the Award was based on.
