As January ends, we mark Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month where we recognize the risks firefighters face. I'm glad to see the progress from Bill C-224, which continues to support efforts against cancers linked to firefighting. Thank you to all firefighters in #orleans and across Canada.

Having worked with former MP Kirsty Duncan during the pandemic, I can say she was an amazing woman—generous with her time and advice, especially when I was a new MP. One of the kindest and most supportive people. My thoughts are with her loved ones. She will be missed.
