Although we don't need them to protect DC, we do feel for them all--missing family, work, holidays for deployment that a court has ruled illegal.

So sad about the shooting today. The National Guard people walk around usually in groups of four and heavily armed. They probably realized that DC is quite peaceful and safe. They could’ve let their guard down, perhaps?
