Are podcasts with bad dynamic ad insertion really how most people experience podcasts? I tried a new podcast for an interesting topic, and after the second mid-sentence interruption by a bizarrely irrelevant ad, I deleted the episodes and unsubscribed. What a horrible listener experience.

Return-to-office recommendations:
- a small electric kettle, such as Bodum’s Bistro
- AeroPress (and bring a small supply of freshly ground coffee in a sealed container)
- an insulated coffee mug with lid, like YETI’s Rambler
- an inexpensive portable monitor that connects via USB-C
