Every now and again we learn invaluable lessons. They can’t be taught at the school level because people really don’t understand these things, until we understand these things. The right balance to life is one of those things. Having a good balance allows us to live the right way. We may hear or come up with cliches for the type of education needed to learn these invaluable lessons, but time reveals what is truth and what isn’t.

Sometimes we only need a little more energy to live the life we’re living. To some it may seem like a simple thing. To those of us who struggle just to wake up sometimes, we know better. Of course, almost everybody has that struggle sometimes. Wishing only works in the movies. For the rest of us putting in the work in anything is the best policy.

Things look bleak when we’re struggling. It’s a lot of mental struggles that burn us out before we know we’re tired. I can remember days when I would get home after work and fall asleep. It wasn’t because I was physically tired, but mentally exhausted. Those days, all I could see was the struggle I was in and try to see the outcomes I wanted.

Sometimes life feels like black clouds and intense rain. Life isn’t fair and it doesn’t have to be. There is nothing in the human manual that says so. While we’re down it can seem like life has forgotten us; like it gives everything good to someone else and sends rain to us. It makes us at times ask if life can get any worse.

At New Year’s time, people make resolutions of things they want to get done. Did you happen to get all of last year’s, or did you forget about it? New year’s resolutions can be as fickle as the person who makes it. They are things that can be done, but most people are so busy they get derailed before January is done.
