This was probably said before but I never cared about social media when it was noted often: I think the whole reason for a character limit is to force people to think about what they post before they post it, even if it seems to be for the shallow reason of trimming a few characters off a post.

even when I'm temporarily moving books out of a room and into another just for storage, to then move them back, something about putting books on a bookshelf (in order) is very satisfying. Not to brag or anything--actually fully bragging because this fact alone is useless just to me, I READ THEM ALL!

You'd be astonished how many people unconsciously change their speech/vocabulary because something/someone in media calls it that thing. Lots of companies bent the knee really fast to call it X which silently led to a bunch of dorks, who said they were still going to call it twitter, to comply.

I have a genuine curse where if I start playing any League of Legends or view ANY related content I get a phone call, often from my family, especially my parents, but not exclusively from my family either, work, medical, it literally could be anything calling me-- just to interrupt League of Legends

Imagine picking up League of Legends for the first time because you watched Arcane, and after 150+ games learning how to simply pilot yourself and you start queuing against players. The matchmaking determines you to be above average skill level and your first match is against a Tahm Kench toplane.

I'm not complaining because he never gave up on his son in the first place. Non-violent drug use should never be a crime in the first place though

Take Solace knowing a bunch of people who consider your life a number and anyone you generally dislike are pretty miserable today, and even if they seem like they aren't, on a surface level, they're very unhappy inside for all of the wrong reasons: namely hubris.

True, the only place I can remotely think of that actually has Black Friday sales worth attending is Microcenter. Maybe the LEGO store if I still bought/shopped there, but I don't know anymore. But Microcenter's online deals are great too, some items have to picked up in-store though, which sucks =(

Black Friday is not something I wish to encourage but when things I wanted to buy for a very long time go on sale for a very good discount near or on the day: what else am I gonna do with my money I saved for those things?

Pretending to be empathetic is something only psychopaths do without a moral conscience, so to actually do that as someone who experiences empathy means you consciously acknowledge that you're actually suppressing empathy, anti-social personality disorder is a physiological condition, choice isn't.
