Got up early this am to see some avalanche mitigation work and learn how they do what they do. Incredible views were had.

Had a great week in New Orleans last week at the @ametsoc.bsky.social annual meeting. Change of scenery this week for the Steamboat Wx Summit. (Though tbf NOLA kinda resembles this currently)

At breakfast and overhearing an in-depth conversation from a nearby table at full volume about how amazing the Weather Channel used to be with local on the 8’s and how far apparently the world has fallen. #themoreyouknow
