Four pictures of two faucaria felina seedlings in a cool ceramic bowl that is very angular. It’s like a keeled hull shape, with a great green colour with wavy texture on the outside. It lols like a gaping maw in a weird way, which suits the faucaria well considering they are named tiger jaws and look like real life piranha plants.

In the same pot I’ve noticed another flower bud forming! I’m not 100% on the ID for this cono, my guess is c. Depressum, but maybe it will show more adult characteristics as it matures and I’ll be able to get another ID. meanwhile, enjoy his STRETCHED, uh, flower hole. #conophytum #succulents

A caudex the size of a small lime, it's brown and crackly with what looks like thin, brown aerial roots emerging from the sides. The leaves are emerging from the top are white, very fuzzy tri-lobed. They have grown and now range from 1/4" - 2" tall. The tallest stem is exhibiting signs of flowers forming - light pink behind fuzzy white hair.

A seedling in a 1.5” square white pot. The leaves are long, with a rough texture that becomes exaggerated near the tips and turn into little toothy spikes. The following images are macro shots showing off the texture of the leaves, and the strange look of some budding leaves just breaking through.

One of the most incredible mimics in the world, this Tiger Moth (Orcynia calcarata) looks so much like a wasp I was almost nervous holding it! 😳

There are so many tiger moths mimicking wasps in the Amazon it’s crazy! 😯🌳

Two pots of p. Nelii seedlings. Each has four seedlings, neatly arranged. They’re a stunning, deep maroon/eggplant/ruby colour. In person they’re an even deeper colour! They still only have 1 set of leaves that have not split open yet. They’re about the size of a thumb nail each.

All potted up! Lewisia ‘Little tutti fruity mix” - a bitter root hybrid, and three #iceplants! White nugget, jewel of desert amethyst, and Alan’s apricot! I’m obsessed with the flowers of #mesembs the cutest and showiest little daisies 💜
Two 30” long rectangular planter boxes. Each has two species in it. The top box has two of the bitterroot plants, and two of the Alan’s apricot ice plants. Their flowers are a similar apricot and peachy pink yellow colour. The bottom box has the white nugget ice plant and the desert amethyst. Two of each. They’re very small clumps of slender chubby succulent leaves and some flower buds are forming.

Four seedlings in a square pot! They have about 3 or 4 leaf pairs. They’re ninja turtle green with small darker green uniform spots all over the leaves. The following pics are Macro shots of some of the seedlings. About 15x zoom, you can see the details of the little green spots on the leaves. The leaves are very chubby and round but with smoother flat edges. Like alien toe beans!
