For me it's about having my character properly shown in the game. The game has a serious lack of styles for PoC characters and the ones we do have are so unserious.

anyways new lore tidbit merrin errin’s actually pretty near-sighted but she uses white magic to enhance her eyesight so she doesn’t have to maintain a pair of glasses when out travelling
as she gets older she eventually goes back to glasses to save herself the effort of casting the spell daily
