At today’s City Council public hearing, I spoke on behalf of the Economic Opportunities Commission supporting FY25 budget proposals for affordability, food security, jobs & mental health.

Good turnout afterward at the African Communities Together rally for #affordablehousing & #tenantrights!

After much consideration, I’ve decided not to run in 2024 for Alexandria City Council. I very much appreciate the encouragement I’ve received since my last run & especially over the last few weeks. I’m excited to get married this year & plan to stay involved in our community! 🫶🏽
