Perhaps the ultimate deal should be that after any "reforms" are *permanently* codified, ICE funding would be appropriated from now on a *biweekly* (or at most monthly) basis so that Congress will hold a fiscal Sword of Damocles over the agency ....

It has made me happy seeing so many restaurants in my area posting fuck ICE type messages and fundraising for immigrant justice groups and mutual aid. Food service workers know perhaps better than anyone how vital immigrants are to our country.

ICE has been in the northwest Bronx for the last 2 days, in and around Van Cortlandt Park/the end of the 1 train. To the west of the park is Riverdale, which is one of the richer, whiter neighborhoods in the city. Whistles are blowing.
