(4/15) Doing a mini Koehler challenge on flute in anticipation of the practice app @patrickcatanzariti and I are making for @therealitycrafters. The challenge is definitely "progress over perfection", just gearing up for more structured practice that'll be done while testing the app. I'm live streaming the practices on my practice channel (twitch.tv/PRACBANG), I have now learnt the hard way that even if it isn't as pretty, the mic needs to come closer 😂 The pieces in Koehler book 1 are around 3rd/4th/5th grade AMEB, so they aren't too tricky yet, hence getting 4 takes in under an hour. Though I can most certainly see room for improvement with tone quality, timing and even sloppy phrases. I should also mention, like all apps the practice app will have an "alpha", "still an alpha", "still still an alpha" "beta-ish" "ok, maybe still alpha"... "beta" and THEN final released version. But I'll be testing it from the first testable version. Super excited about it!!
