there’s some supposedly christian asshole out there saying empathy is a sin. this is outrageous. this is what allows holocausts and genocides to happen. not caring who gets hurt. the world is so dangerous today.

why does AA help me more than Buddhism and meditation ever did, especially when I have a high bottom as a drinker? I don’t get it, but I think AA’s super loving community is key for me. Endless love. Never alone. So many ways to engage with the coolest people.
