Last year The Met claimed a 27% reduction in their use of s136 MHA - this year, they revised the numbers and ALL of that reduction disappeared.

This year’s data tells us that last year’s data was wrong —

The data tells us why police custody was used as a Place of Safety for the 354 (1.1%) of cases where it was.
