A bit lost. Anti Brexit, woke lefty, Pro EU, music and literature, N-Gauge, two great lads, both talented musicians and lovely people.
One of the good things about living on my own is that when I wake up at some stupid time (02:30) I can get up and make a brew without worrying that I'm disturbing anybody!

Though if I fall on the stairs it may be weeks before anyone notices! 😬

Grey and wet, rain forecast all day. Maximum temperature of 9°C, feeling cooler due to the wind.
Don't think I'll be doing much today.

I get very little interaction on here, but so be it.
This is one track that changed my idea of what music could be. It is just awesome, and sent me down a fascinating rabbit hole!

I was lucky enough to see Bowie live on three occasions, this remains one of many favourite tunes. I love how relaxed he is on this version.

This, every time. 😭
The finale of the great TV comedy show Blackadder goes Forth.
Back then I didn't expect one of the funniest programmes ever to end with a scene that makes me cry every time I see it.
Every single time.

Jamie will be playing in Southport this Saturday, as part of Ray Quinn's backing band.

One of the great stories about the Selmer MKVI saxophones is that they sounded so good because the brass used came from unused artillery shells from WW2. This brass itself originated from melted down church bells the Germans had stolen.
Great story, but completely untrue!

Good grief, Jamie is doing a gig in Asda, Keighley, 08:00 this morning. A gig is a gig, and nobody can question his work ethic!
Good on you, Jamie!

How does a young lad, who is a brilliant saxophonist, and clarinetist, move on to the next level. Where does he get the break?
