I gave my 2 weeks at a job I've been at for 5 years, because I accepted a position that will advance my career and my pay, and my boss told me not to bother coming back. In case anyone needs reassurance that employers don't care about you.

Got a raise yesterday and was simultaneously made to feel like shit about myself by my boss. Good times. Glad to have an interview coming up.
