Friends who have travelled through CDG in Paris…if I have a ticket all the way to my final destination (not separate tickets, all booked through @westjet)…will I have to pick up my luggage and recheck it?

Was good to see a show of community in support of inclusive libraries. We were cold…but the cause is worth it.

For my partner’s birthday I got them a six month subscription to the universal yums box. I was a bit skeptical, but it’s been super fun. Friday the box came from Turkey. there were coconut Turkish delights in it.

Had a great time in Ottawa, but am now so tired. Flight was over an hour late due to strong headwinds and now we’ve been sitting on the tarmac for 30 mins…I know it’s due to weather and lots of late planes, but just am very sleepy.

When I was young I envisioned myself with a house full of kids. when I almost died in labour with M and was told that next time it wouldn’t be “almost”, I made the vow that if I could only have one kid, I would show that kid the world.
I’m grateful always for travel and the chances to bring him.

Masked, at the pharmacy and just waiting on a prescription for a puffer (as it’s hard to breathe at times with this cough). Person next to me is waiting on a strep test (they talked loudly about it)…while maskless and also listening to videos on their phone at full blast.

I got my flu and Covid vaccine in October…and currently have the flu. I still mask on planes and in crowded places.
This sucks, but it likely could be worse. I will just be over here trying not to cough up a lung…
